Jane Bissell came to New Zealand from the US when she was seven. She gained a BA in Classics at the University of Auckland. Since then Jane has lived in Seattle and Atlanta, has been a stage and lighting manager in professional theatre, worked for a telephone company, as a courier driver and as Operations Manager for international express companies.
She has always been a writer — she's completed short stories, magazine and newspaper articles, plays and a novel. Breast cancer provided the catalyst for Jane to write her own story.
Jane lives in Auckland where she works part-time for the New Zealand Writers' Guild.
