Garth Cameron's first job in the law was working for Kelvin Marks, a leading court lawyer. After 3 years he went out on his own and has been a sole practitioner ever since.
His law practice has covered all courts and most tribunals in New Zealand and involves everything from first interview to final appeal. His criminal and traffic cases have involved hundreds of different types of crimes and offences, and his civil cases have included subjects as diverse as the midnight activities of a goat, and whether or not a leading insurance company should pay out on a claim for a burnt out house.
Garth Cameron's first passion was for aviation. He holds a commercial pilots licence and is also a qualified glider pilot. He's sampled most other types of aviation including hang-gliding, paragliding and ballooning. He's been a bibliophile since his early teens and much of his leisure time is taken up with browsing second hand bookshops.
