Judith Cullen owned her own restaurant and catering business for over eight years. These days she's known for the inspirational evening classes she runs from her home, where the students become guests and spill out into the living room for tastings and glasses of wine. Judith often transports her classes food, equipment and all to Central Otago and Southland where her demonstrations are extremely popular.
'Team Cuisine' is another of Judith's innovative projects. Groups from the corporate world are given a mystery box of ingredients from which to create a three course meal. Overseen by Judith, out of 'excitement, chaos and mayhem', team building happens along with delicious, adventurous meals. Judith also works as a food consultant and food stylist for corporations and small businesses alike. She leads an annual tour to Italy, exploring regional foods and wines, Italian life, history and architecture.
Bill Nichol's photography has been published in every magazine in New Zealand. He trained as a sculptor and completed a fine arts degree at Canterbury University. He works as a full-time photographer and specialises in food photography. He and Judith have worked together for a number of years.
