Here, in a beautiful and unusual book, written and photographed by Tai Mulitalo, a young Samoan graduate of the University of Canterbury School of Fine Arts in Christchurch, six individuals speak openly about their lives and their own expression of their Samoan identity within a New Zealand context. Their highly individual stories and Tai Mulitalo's magnificent photographs reveal that every Samoan does indeed have his or her own shade of brown.
